About Compassionate Family Resource Center

The Compassionate Family Resource Center was implemented on June 1, 2022, to expand our outreach ministry. We have served and supported our community for 17 years through Uplift Outreach Ministries, with school supplies to 100 youth, 100 lbs. of food to Table food program, shoes to Haiti, financed with building a hospital in the Dominican Republic, provided new and gently used clothing to families in need, provided supplies to the military, 15 members certified from the Darkness to Light Program for the prevention of childhood sexual abuse.

Ninety percent of the support came directly from Uplift Outreach Ministries members. Donations from local stores have helped assist with this program. We are in the process of writing grants to help assist and support this great need in our community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to use our education to provide programs and targeted services based on the needs and interests of families and youth. Mentoring and supporting families and youth with assistance for personal care, clothing, and school supplies in low- income families in Orange County building and maintaining great relationships with parents, teachers, students, and community.

We believe access to these skills and support will assist families and youth through empowerment, compassion, and action despite their circumstances. Aiding them in confidently progressing through their life journey.

Our vision is to expand our field of care, support, and training in response to the growing needs of the underserved and hard-to-reach populations of RTP, Orange and Chatham County. We envision our families, youth, and community to use a communal building we are working on constructing to fully meet their needs.
