Apostle Hilda Stephens-Antoine

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The journey began on January 18, 1983, as Co-founder of Words of Truth Church located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, under the late Bishop Robert J. Streater. She attended Bible Classes at Words of Truth and graduated with honors. The ministry then later relocated to Chester, Pennsylvania in 1987.

Apostle and was called by God to teach his people. She preached her initial sermon on February 3,1992, and was licensed. From that day forward, she presided over the Women Fellowship Outreach a Coalition with Ministries from Wilmington, Delaware to Atlanta City, New Jersey sponsoring revivals, and youth ministries for 10 years.

From 1995-2002 Apostle Stephens served in ministry as an Evangelist, teaching weekly Bible study, sponsoring Women Fellowship, and other capacities at Love Ministries Church under the leadership of Pastor Jacques Thigpen in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, NC.

 One day while driving, Apostle Stephens spotted a little chapel known to many as the Community Church. Walking to the grounds, the Lord revealed that she would do great things at the little chapel. Just as God has spoken 7 years later, Apostle Stephens, became the Founder and Pastor of Uplift Outreach Ministries International, Inc., on March 10, 2002.

 Apostle Hilda worked at the University of North Carolina Undergraduate Admissions, as a manager for 20 years. She also held positions at Wilson Library, Child Support Enforcement and Data Processing, for ten years for a total of 30 years of service with the State of North Carolina.

 Apostle Stephens is a 2008 graduate of Ashworth University with an Associate of Science degree in Psychology, and a creative writing diploma from the same University, and certification in Fashion Merchandise. She also holds a B S degree in Psychology awarded in 2016, along with a Certification in Christian and Marriage Counseling. 

 God has truly blessed Apostle to be a blessing to others in the leadership role to serve the community Back-to-School Program for 15 years, Table Food Program, Lifting Loft Clothing Ministry and Praise on the Lawn Ministry.

 Apostle Stephens is a published author of God is This My Man, God Is This My Man the Sequel, The Reunion, and The Edge, in a series of 7 books, and her new Memoir published November 9, 2020, called “Secrets”. She is the host of the Keeping You Lifted TV show that airs the 2nd and 4th Monday starting 9/23/2023 on Facebook and YouTube.

 Apostle Hilda is married to Anthony Antoine. She has one daughter Latesha, son in law Terrance and affectionately known as Teal by her grandchildren MonTerris and Shayla, and in loving memory of grandson Jahvon.
