Associate Pastor Cynthia Currie began her journey at Uplift in 2002. In June 2005 she was ordained as a minister then later in December 2009, she was installed as the Associate Pastor. Cynthia Currie is the wife of Elder Cleveland Currie, the mother of two sons Gequinton and Damien Currie.

She holds a Business Administration degree from Durham Technical Community College.  She is currently employed by the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools for 15 years and teach and nurtures “Children with Special Needs.“ She reside in Carrboro, North Carolina.
